Hey there! My name is Nicole Nielsen. I am originally from North Carolina but have been living in beautiful Southern California for the last 5 years. I am a former elementary teacher who picked up woodworking as a hobby when I bought my first house in 2009 – which turned out to be quite the fixer-upper! Working on project after project with my dad and constantly watching him build and fix things around the house while growing up, I realized I had a love to do the same! A few years after selling that house, my dad bought me my very own mitre saw! It was all downhill from there! 😉 This love of creating pieces out of wood started out as just playing around on the weekends until I finally decided to make it more than just a small hobby!
